Here are some quick stats to start off with. Every NFL (National Football League) and NBA (National Basketball Association) team has a chiropractor on staff and 28 of 30 MLB (Major League Baseball) has a chiropractor as part of their medical staff. This gives you an idea that most professional athletes are using chiropractic care to keep them performing at their best and keeping them at that level for extended periods of time. Part of the reason this is important is because these athletes are strong and healthy, but if their bodies aren’t functioning at their top performance, there is no way they will perform at their top performance. Chiropractic can help your body perform the best that it can, which in part helps you be able to perform the best that you can. Each of us are athletes in our own way, whether that be every day or weekend warriors, but living in Tahoe and seeing people around South Lake Tahoe, they are as much or more than professional athletes for how much that they do. Keeping yourself moving is super important and chiropractic can help with that process. With all the research that supports chiropractic care supporting improvement in speed, performance, and movement, if I can decrease some of the resistance that you are having, that will increase your overall performance. There are numerous professional athletes that use and support chiropractic care names such as Michael Jordan, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and many others. If the professionals are using it, we definitely could use it in our little less than professional athletic activity knowing that we don’t move and perform as well as they do.
