Backpack Health Tips- September 2017

This one is about backpack tips and back safety. With kids getting back into school, a couple things you want to watch out for. For one, what is the general weight of the backpack? You want to try and stay between 5-10% of the kids body weight. Two, being able to keep the backpack no more than 4 inches below the waistline. The reasoning behind that is you want to the weight up rather than being pulled back or having to lean forward to hold the weight, which will put more pressure on the shoulders and upper back and neck.
