This patient is coming in to get her neck and upper back worked on. She had been previously examined and ready for this treatment. She even states that it is not that bad. What I am looking for are areas of the spine, or other areas of the body if needed, that aren’t moving the way they should, tight muscles, or any other thing that is out of the norm. I recommend people take a breath in and out prior to the adjustment in order to help them relax their muscles, there are some tricks of the trade to help you relax at least for a split second. If the muscles don’t relax enough, it makes it very difficult to get the movement that is intended due to guarding. If you want to know what the popping sound is take a look at our explanation on our FAQ page. Treating the neck is commonly where people are concerned, and if so, there are alternative ways to achieve the same or similar result. The upper back adjustment is like a big hug and really can open up breathing and posture. If you have more questions, you are welcome to message or call us. Thanks for watching.
